Adapting to Reach Children in Crisis, Conflict and Pandemic Realities: Experiences of Sesame Workshop and IRC

Rene Celaya, Vice President for Humanitarian Programs and Managing Director of Ahlan Simsim at Sesame Workshop, and Heidi Rosbe, Senior Project Specialist of Ahlan Simsim at International Rescue Committee will discuss how an early childhood education program, Ahlan Simsim ("Welcome Sesame" in Arabic) promotes early learning and helps build resilience and coping skills among children across the Middle East. They will also share how the program adapted to meet the needs of children during the ongoing pandemic. 

Registration for this event is required. We will share Zoom details with those who registered one day prior to the event.
