Events

The Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the new year on the lunar calendar. Traditionally, celebration of the new year brings fortune, wealth, and well-being. This year we will be distributing boxed meals in consideration of COVID social gathering restrictions. We will also distribute egg tart shells, which will be used in a subsequent event on the same day for a virtual zoom baking event. During the event we will also be doing an educational activity about the cultural significance of the Lunar New Year in different parts of Asia.
