Dr. Yu’s laboratory conducts genome-wide and world-wide analyses of genetic determinants of autism to reveal its underlying genomic architecture, and neurobiological underpinnings.

Dr. Yu completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Harvard College, his M.D. and Ph.D. degree (in Neuroscience) from the University of California at San Francisco, clinical neurology training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a fellowship in neurodevelopmental genetics at MGH and Boston Children’s Hospital. He joined the faculty in the Division of Genetics and Genomics at Boston Children’s Hospital as Instructor in 2010 and Assistant Professor in 2013.

This event is hosted as part of the monthly seminar series featuring leaders in precision medicine from across the nation, through the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research
