You are invited to a virtual summit of global leaders in the field of infection prevention and control in long-term care facilities convened by The New York Academy of Medicine. The goals of the summit are to: 

• Critically examine evidence-based practice guidelines for infection prevention and control in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities 

• Understand key barriers to implementing these best practices 

• Propose sustainable regional and global solutions 

This summit is intended for professionals who work in long-term care, including administrators, clinicians, regulators, researchers, and policymakers. It will feature two Columbia Nursing faculty members: Patricia W. Stone, PhD, RN, FAAN, Centennial Professor of Health Policy and Ann Spenard, DNP, RN-BC, Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing.
