At this conference, education scholars and practitioners will discuss Human Variance and Assessment for Learning. Co-hosted by the Institute for Urban and Minority Education, the National Urban League, the National Science Foundation, and the CEJJES Institute, the conference will explore topics such as:
-Assessment in the Service of Learning,
-Modes of Assessment for STEM Learning across Diverse Educational Environments, and
-Using Information from Educational Assessments to Educate as well as Measure.
The conference will also feature a film screening and a luncheon keynote address by Lloyd Bond, PhD, senior scholar at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and Emeritus Professor of Educational Research at the University of North Carolina.
