The Augustus C. Long Health Sciences Library invites you to join us for a dynamic panel discussion which will explore critical issues surrounding forced migration, marginalized populations and healthcare. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious recipes from around the world, inspired by our panel. By the end of the program, attendees will be able to: - Describe the effect of forced migration on families - Connect with authoritative information surrounding forced migration and healthcare - Examine topics at the intersection of forced migration, marginalized populations and healthcare - Recognize the power of personal narratives in communicating critical health messages - Explore culturally competent and sustainable healthcare practices - Engage in thought-provoking, interdisciplinary discussions about forced migration in relation to health outcomes RSVP required.
