National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Medical Center Campus

Columbia University Public Safety, the New York City Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are once again partnering for the DEA’s next National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, a free service open to all members of Columbia and its neighboring communities. On Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., individuals may anonymously turn in their unused or expired prescription medication for safe disposal at the following University locations; only pills or patches will be accepted for disposal: - Columbia University Irving Medical Center: In the lobby of the William Black Building, 650 West 168th Street - Morningside: College Walk, 116th Street and Broadway For more information about how to safely dispose of prescription drugs or about the upcoming Take Back Day event, visit the Take Back Day website
