Join us for a firsthand account of the historic class action lawsuit led by Lynn, author of “The Good Girls REVOLT” and forty-five women at Newsweek, along with Jessica, the first Gender Editor at The New York Times who wrote a cover story at Newsweek, “Are We There Yet?” - 40-years after the historical moment.
Special guests include Professor Dolores Barclay who will be sharing her firsthand experience at The Associated Press in the 1970s as a Black female journalist and Professor Alisa Solomon, advisor to the Women In Media at Columbia.
We will be discussing both then and now. You will walk away with tips on how to further close the gender gap that still exists today.
