15.00 ACCME, CPE, CDE Credits The Armenian Heritage Cruise (AHC) in collaboration with Columbia University brings together a Global Health initiative with a focus on the Armenian program model. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of the most important advances made in health care. A series of highly educational and informative lectures will cover key areas of health care in Armenia. They will discuss how model programs in skeletal health, women’s health, cardiology, and dental health were developed in Armenia and how these programs can serve as model programs throughout the world. The program will be of interest and importance to all health care professionals interested in global health challenges of our time as exemplified by these initiatives. The conference aims to prepare participants with tools in Global Health issues by addressing each major specialty. Much of the material will be presented in lecture format by the best teachers and clinicians. In addition, each specialty will have a case-based question and answer session using an interactive computer-based system. This system will allow you (anonymously) to test your knowledge in the different areas of medicine.
