Teaching Dentists Oral Surgery and Emergency Medicine. 4 CDE credits. This CE course reviews emergency management, risk assessment and prevention. Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Friedman will describe: Basic surgical principals of Flap Design; Basic exodontia, pre-prosthetic surgery; How to do a complete clinical exam; When to send out your patient; and Complications and how to avoid them. Additionally they review of informed consent, plus include a closing session on everything you might want to ask the surgeon.
