Documentary filmmaker Mick Caouette made extensive use of the Frances Perkins Papers held by Columbia to tell the story of the first woman cabinet member who was the driving force behind the American Social Safety Net. Panel discussion to follow screening to include Alice Kessler-Harris, Tomlin Perkins Coggeshall, and Christopher Breiseth.
