The M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program is pleased to invite you to An Evening with Dr. Daniel Druckman, Professor Emeritus of Public and International Affairs at George Mason’s Schar School of Policy and Government as well as an Honorary Professor at Macquarie University in Sydney and at the University of Queensland in Brisbane Australia. He is the recipient of five Lifetime Achievement awards.
During this event, Dr. Druckman will discuss his latest book, “Negotiation, Identity and Justice: Pathways to Agreement” (Routledge, 2023), which discusses his multifaceted career and presents key contributions on the topics of negotiation, national identity, and social justice. In addition to the themes of the book, Dan has published widely on such topics as robot mediation, human performance, peacekeeping, political stability, nonverbal communication, trust, and research methodology. His next book with Paul F. Diehl and Grace B. Mueller – “When Peacekeeping Missions Collide: Balancing Multiple Roles in Peace Operations” – is just out from Oxford University Press.
This book, and event, will be of considerable interest to students and practitioners of international negotiation and mediation, conflict resolution, security studies, and international relations.
