A town hall discussion with film makers of the Change The Subject documentary (see https://events.columbia.edu/go/changethesubject for event details) and metadata activists Amber Billey (Bard College) and Jennifer W. Baxmeyer (Princeton) about libraries, labels, and activism. The discussion will be followed by a reception. ​Change the Subject​ (2019) ​is a film that follows a group of Dartmouth students working with Library staff to campaign to change the subject headings in the Library of Congress for "undocumented immigrants."
