Much like the economic reforms of 1991 that led to the unshackling of the Indian economy, the Agriculture reform bills enacted by the Modi Government in 2020 will finally put India’s agriculture sector on the path towards modernization. These important reforms empowers farmers, providing them the choice to sell their produce to whoever and wherever they choose, and make it possible for them to increase their income.
