The Greenmarket was founded in 1976 to promote regional agriculture by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their locally grown products. This year's market opened on June 4 on 168th St. and Fort Washington Ave. From June 26 until Sept. 30, Cornell Cooperative Extension will conduct weekly bilingual nutrition education workshops and cooking demonstrations.
