Starting a Nonprofit: The Four Fundamental Steps

Columbia University's M.S. Nonprofit Management Program is launching a four-part series designed to prepare our students, alumnae, and the SPS Community to start and operate successful nonprofit organizations. Join us as experts in the field share their expertise and effective tools. Each two-hour session will feature lectures/videos and pre-session resources.

Principal and Chief Strategist, DLBHICKS, LLC.

 

This session is designed to help participants develop effective fundraising plans to secure support for new nonprofits.

Topics will include best practices in donor engagement and solicitation, including online and mail appeals, individual asks, and grant writing.
