Dr. Cady Carlson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama, School of Social Work. Her research focuses on violence against women and mental health in low- and middle-income countries. She received her PhD in Social Work from Columbia University, where she conducted her dissertation on community factors contributing to the prevention or promotion of intimate partner violence against women in Kampala, Uganda.
