Columbia If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice brings Rewire's documentary short, Care in Chaos, to campus to show students what abortion access (or rather lack of access) looks like in other states. This documentary shows how far protesters go in harassing and scaring patients, clinic volunteers, and clinic workers on a daily basis. After the screening, we will hear from the filmmakers, Lindsay Beyerstein & Martyna Starosta, Rewire editor Regina Mahone, and Stephanie Toti, the reproductive rights litigator who argued Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt before the Supreme Court in 2016. Erica Smock, Dean of Social Justice Initiatives at Columbia Law, will moderate. Refreshments will be served. This event is open to public.
