Beyond Headlines and Hashtags - LIVE Friday Review of Pandemic News Another week has passed in the first pandemic of the 21st century, with thousands of new stories posted and printed, yet questions still often outnumbering answers. Each Friday, the Earth Institute Initiative on Communication and Sustainability hosts a lunchtime review of COVID-19 headlines and next steps featuring Pulitzer winner Laurie Garrett, NBC’s Robert Bazell, Jon Cohen of Science Magazine and Wendy Wertheimer, formerly of WHO & NIH. This week's special guest is Pulitzer winner TIna Rosenberg, who co-writes the New York Times Fixes column and co-founded the Solutions Journalism Network. She'll join host Andy Revkin and the panel in an exploration of ways for the media to help the overloaded public seek real-world solutions to simultaneous pandemic and economic jolt.
