The groundbreaking film Boys Don’t Cry was released in 1999. It received considerable acclaim—including an Academy Award for Best Actress for star Hilary Swank—and was recently added by the Library of Congress to the national registry of films deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” Screening followed by a panel discussion reuniting much of the creative team, including Writer-Director Kimberly Peirce ’96, Co-writer Andy Bienen ’96, Film, Producer Christine Vachon, Cinematographer Jim Denault, Editor Lee Percy, and Casting Director Kerry Barden. **This event is at capacity and registration is now closed.
