The American Society of Civil Engineers chapter at Columbia University is excited to announce their Sustainability in Civil Engineering Virtual Conference, a three-day series of virtual panels and presentations, all discussing sustainability and climate change adaptation in the civil engineering industry!

From Thursday, May 13, to Saturday, May 15, 2021, tune in to hear about sustainability enforcement, civil engineering for climate resilience, construction techniques, and perspectives from the private and public sectors. We will host speakers and alumni from Arcadis, WSP, AECOM, Skanska, and the U.S. Green Building Council, as well as NYC DOB, MTA, DDC, DEP, and Civil Engineering faculty.

This event is open to the entire civil engineering community, including students, alumni, and faculty, as well as industry professionals in New York City and beyond. We also invite all students interested in sustainability in the built environment. The first day of the conference will conclude with a networking session to facilitate small group conversations and individual connections. Attendees are invited to attend any or all of the events!

Registration is open now via Eventbrite at https://bit.ly/3mnuVWW! Zoom links for each event will be sent out soon on our virtual landing page as updated through Eventbrite. Questions about the conference may be directed to Elisha Zhao ([email protected]), Andrew Zhang ([email protected]), or [email protected].
