Join the Center for Research on People of Color for our first Anti-Racism Speaker Series event on November 5, 2020, 2:30 – 3:30PM. The event will feature Dr. Enobong (Anna) Branch, Senior Vice President for Equity and Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University. Her lecture, titled “First, Do No Harm”: Eugenics, Medicine and Devaluing Black Life, will be held virtually. Dr. Branch’s research examines the roots and present day underpinnings of racial and gender inequality, with particular focus on the workplace. She is co-author of Black in America: The Paradox of the Color Line, published in 2020.
